The Hypalon rubber sheet is made of CSM (chlorosulfonated polyethylene). It has good physical and flame retardance, resistance to ozone and weather, and also has low gas permeability. That makes the hypalon rubber sheet suitable for electrical sealing applications.
The hypalon rubber sheet has excellent abrasion resistance at low temperatures. In addition to electrical properties, it even has good resistance to corrosion and chemicals. The rubber sheet has excellent resistance to oil and fluids, especially at extreme temperatures. That can withstand harsh conditions for longer periods of time.
